We are overhelmed and deeply touched by all the donations for "Amis du Senegal".
It is a bizarre feeling, knowing that the cause of the donation, which is supposed to make us happy, is the loss of a beloved child.
We appreciate all the gifts and thanke all the persons in the name of our children.
We ensure, that the money will be used in respectful remembrance of Caroline, to help children in need.

Der Verein «Amis du Senegal» will auf unbürokratische Weise im Senegal Hilfe leisten.

Es sollen Projekte entwickelt und unterstützt werden, welche mittel- und langfristig Verbesserungen für die Situation von Kindern bringen (siehe Projekt «Kinderhaus»).

Er will aber auch Soforthilfe leisten für Familien in
Notsituationen, sowie die Ausbildung von Kindern fördern.

Alle Verantwortlichen arbeiten ehrenamtlich,
die Spendengelder fliessen vollumfänglich in die
Hilfsprojekte und die Soforthilfe.

Unter Soforthilfe versteht der Verein das Beschaffen von Lebensmitteln und Kleider für Kinder, aber auch das Bezahlen von Ausbildungskosten.

Im Falle von Krankheiten sollen Medikamente und
Behandlungskosten finanziert werden.
